Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-11 · effective October 11, 2026

These beta policies were prepared from legal and regulatory research and have not been reviewed or approved by an attorney.

Robotutor is a product and service operated by Weller Precision Industries LLC. In these terms, “Robotutor,” “we,” and “us” refer to Weller Precision Industries LLC, the entity providing the service and entering this agreement with you.

Account eligibility and authority

Consumer accounts are currently for people who are at least 18, have reached the age of legal majority where they live, and have authority to accept these terms for themselves. This version does not enable child accounts, school consent, or consent by a parent, guardian, teacher, or institution.

Agreement and policy changes

By creating an account, you affirmatively accept the versions of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the AI Notice, and the eligibility terms shown at signup. We keep a record of those exact versions and the server time of acceptance. If a material change requires renewed acceptance, we will present the revised terms before requiring that acceptance.

Use the service responsibly

  • Use your own account and keep your login details private.
  • Do not submit illegal, harmful, abusive, or privacy-invasive content.
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or access checks.
  • Do not use the service for emergency or safety-critical decisions.

Your content

You keep any rights you have in content you submit. You give Weller Precision Industries LLC a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You must have the right to submit the content and should not submit confidential or sensitive information that is unnecessary for your learning activity.

Improving Robotutor

Unless you turn it off, Weller Precision Industries LLC may use your learning record to train, evaluate, and improve Robotutor's own teaching and grading models. Your learning record is your practice answers, how each answer was graded, the feedback you received, your tutor conversations, and how you worked through each task. Training uses only copies from which detectable personal details have been automatically removed. Outside AI providers never train on your learning record, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone for their own model training. This use is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in Account settings with the switch “Use your learning record to improve Robotutor.” Turning it off does not change how Robotutor works for you, and it leaves your record out of any training we start after the change. The Privacy Policy describes this use in more detail.

AI-generated educational content

You interact with an AI tutor. Questions, explanations, grading, and feedback may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. Robotutor is educational and is not a substitute for emergency services or individualized medical, legal, financial, licensing, or other professional judgment. Check important information against trusted sources and qualified people. Read the AI Notice.

Beta availability

The beta may change, pause, or lose temporary state while launch infrastructure is hardened. The service is provided as-is and may not always be available. Nothing in this service is an accreditation, professional certification, or guarantee of learning outcomes.

Accounts, suspension, and deletion

You may stop using the service or delete your account from Account settings, subject to resolving any active subscription. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse, or address a material breach of these Terms. Account deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or learning results. Weller Precision Industries LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service to the extent such limits are permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

General terms

These Terms and the policies incorporated at signup are the agreement between you and Weller Precision Industries LLC for the consumer service. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. Applicable law governs without displacing any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live.
