Practice chemistry until the gaps are gone.
Robotutor is an AI-assisted learning project focused on a General Chemistry pilot. Explore the public study guides; the examples below illustrate a proposed learning loop.
A plant is kept in bright light but given no carbon dioxide. Which part of photosynthesis stops first, and why?
Good. Now separate the light reactions from carbon fixation: which process can continue briefly, and which one runs out of usable input?
Dig deeperAttempt, inspect, repair, and check again.
Try the loop.
What Robotutor does
Robotutor is an AI tutor made by Weller Precision Industries LLC. You pick a subject, answer questions in your own words, and get feedback on your reasoning. Robotutor then chooses the next question from what you got right and wrong, and schedules reviews so you keep what you learned. The current pilot focuses on General Chemistry.
You can try a practice question and read the guides without an account. An account saves your progress, practice history and review schedule.
Signing in with Google
Robotutor offers Sign in with Google as an alternative to a password. When you use it, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID with Robotutor. We use them only to sign you in and show who is signed in. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or Contacts, and we never sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
Continuing with Facebook
Robotutor also offers Continue with Facebook. Facebook shares your name, profile picture, email address and Facebook user ID, which we use only to sign you in and show who is signed in. If you allow them, it also shares your age range, birthday, gender and location. Your age range is used only to confirm you are 18 or older and is never stored. Your birthday also confirms you are 18 or older, your gender suggests how Robotutor refers to you in feedback, and your location suggests an exam system and the time zone for your review due dates. Those three are saved only if you keep them during setup, and you can edit or delete them in Account settings at any time. We never sell Facebook data or use it for advertising.
Details for both, including how to delete your data, are in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
